Well I have finally created a real blogger site to go with my other two anime clubs:-

I am into everything anime and/or Japanese and have been for quite some time now. Ten years ago I first discovered anime (not cartoons dammit all! There is a big difference ya know! To be 'anime' the Japanese must be involved in some aspect(s) of the animation. Otherwise all you got is a bloody cartoon for the kiddies!) in the form of my two Lovely Angels Kei and Yuri- tro cons (trouble consultants) for the 3WA (World Welfare Works Assn) the peace keeping arm of the 'United Galactica Federation of Galaxies' ('UG'). The 3WA is sorta like 'Interpol' back on Terra (Earth), however, in deep space especially around Mars and their homebase world of 'Shimougou' in the Aquarian Galaxy tro cons are the law!

Many of you anime fanatics out there (you know who ya are!) know my Angels as (horrors! THAT name!)- the 'Dirty Pair' ('DP Flash later on)but if you call 'em that WHAMMO! 'That's Lovely Angels dammit!' is oro (what)(Told you I was into everything Japanese didn't I? That includes the language which I have been teaching myself for the last decade. Just like golf where I carry a 5 handicap and have 13 aces to my credit after 30 years and pc computing both of which I taught myself without lessons I am now teaching myself Japanese history, mythology and customs.)

Around the web everyone knows the 'Knowledgeable Six' of which the Keiman of Anime is one of this esteemed half dozen experts on anime in general and the Angels in particular. I hail from here in Brookhaven PAA (USA). The other five are Wim (Holland), Mr Wilbury (Fla), Nozmo (midwest USA), Tom Mitchell (Oxford in Britain. Tom is our wordsmith and settles all Japanese language arguements for us. He is the Chair of Ancient Languages at Oxford University) and King Nozmo (nobody's sure where he or she is from- gomen er sorry!). We are considered the six foremost experts on the globe!

I have at least 40 members at my other two sites and they are from all over the globe as well. I have a lady from Japan, one from the Phillippines, another two from Australia, several from Europe, many from the British Isles, of course all over the 50 states, Oceania, Africa, China and even Russia! My age requirement is over 12 and then the sky's the limit man! I have a lady who is a great-grandmum and she's well over 80 (She sure don't look it by her pix though)!

I post here at yahoogroups at many clubsites but especially at animeontv which features a
monthly anime tv viewing guide. Animeontv.com has a section 'series' with oodles of information on everything about the shows.

Wanna see the gals? Here are some pix. Kei is the redhead in the Classic DP while Yuri is the violet-maned vixen in the Classic DP shows. The Flash versions show Yuri with aoishi(bluish) Black hair and Kei with a multi-coloured (yellow/orange/black/red) punk rocker hairstyle. Yuri's hair is lways long and flowing while Kei's is usually short and choppy. By the way ya know why they are called the er 'DP'? It's because of Kei's motto mostly-

'Never blow up tomorrow what you can blow up today!' They wreck everything in sight. After seeing the gals' pix you might have thought there was another reason eh? Naughty naughty! I did say that 12 year olds are members at both sites, did I not?

Here are some pix and then I'll be back with more goodies to share. Here's Yuri at Kurusumasu er Christmastime. Ain't she a cute lil elf? I think she puts ya in mind of Sister Rosette (Chrono Crusade) from the Christmas episode!



Here's our deadly dynamic duo perched atop a 'jacaronda' and this pix is from either 'Affair at Nolandia' or 'Project EDEN'- two of their three anime films. The third one is 'Conspiracy on Flight 009' and features Kei as an airline stew BION! Hard to believe but the duo together have made only 30 hours of video in total yet out of that sort span hve come 51 half hour episodes, 3 films and their famous 15 seconddebut in 'Crusher Joe the Movie' where the gals are onscreen literally as part of a drive-in movie (remember them folks?) feature the characters are watching! That is where it all began my tomos watashi (my vry good friends). The very first 26 eppy series (the original original DP- subbed and never dubbed) led to the 10 eppy 'Original DP' ad then the 15 eppy 'DP Flash' series where unfortunately it all ended. That is except for fanfiction writers like yours truly who keeps the Angelic flame burning brightly through word if not pix or videos! Anyway here they are in all their glory! Kei's the one with the ion cannon in her fist and by the way those are 3WA uniforms they're both wearing- no kidding man!

Last one there was Neko Olson. A shapeshifting nekomata or cat demon (full youkai) trill (Star Trek/DS9- rememeber Jadzia Dax?). OK I have to give a big domo arigatou (thank you very much) to one of my members. I met hr at animeonline.net and she was kind enough to allow me to use Neko (I named her Olson and gave her the rest of her attributes in writing) in both of my ff's. This wonderful person's screen name is 'highteckdudu' and she was also kind enough to design the flash Angels duo for me too. Here it is:-

Recognize that fine fellow? Nai, he is not a cartoon. Not only is he anime heis one of the very first anime to be shown in the States! Cartoon Network was running him latenight up until a half year ago. Now a trivia question for ya. What do the classic film 'Santa Claus Conquers the Martians', 'Steel Angel Kurumi' and thisfine laddie's anime show have in common? If my blog here is successful I'll answer it for ya.

Couldn't split without telling you that the 'Lovely Angel' is als the name of the gals' patrol starships. Well Haruka Takachiho (he invented the gals and so in his honour I gave the 3WA/UG Academy on Shimougou in Furool (Foo-Lon) City his name 'Takachiho Academy' and I wish him a belated happy birthday (7 Nov). His Angels' birthdays are Classic Kei (27 Nov) and Flash Kei (1 January). The Yuris are 3 and 15 March. The Classic duo hail from AD2140 in the 22nd Century an are both 19 albeit Kei is four months older than Yuri. The Flash team are from AD 2250 in the 23rd Century but they are a mere 17 years old, however, Kei is two months older than her partner. Sound a trifle young eh? Well they both graduted from the Academy when they were 14 ya know!) That's the same Academy that Kei is running in Angel Wings. Oh hai the ships- the
'Lovely Angels 1, 2 and 3' are sister ships and the vessels are identical (well almost anyway) to each other. Red, white and aoishi (blue) they were painted with that ancient Terran NFL football team's colours- the New England Patriots who were in SuperBowl CCXXXVII or CCXXXVIII against the Philly Eagles! Massive they be with a grand total of fourteen decks- nine surface level decks and five subsurface level ones! Each one can carry well over 200 souls which comes in handy when- hey! read the Xmas ff and the AW one too if you wanna know more! If you like Scrooge/Xmas Carol pastiches read Xmas with the DP (Ch 15 to 35 I think) and you will read about the weirdest version of O'Scrooge, McMarley, Cratchit, Tiny Tim and the rest you've ever heard of! With the exception of 'Scrooged' starring Bill Murray and Bobcat Goldthwaite I believe I have the only Scrooge who fired on Marley's spectre as well as all three Spirits of Kurusumasu! And ya won't believe the business of O'Scrooge & McMarley- I really think this one is a first and only folks! Toodles-The farewell word used by Lupin III- grandson of the famed French art thief Arsene Lupin who was ably portrayed onscreen in the 30's by John Barrymore. His archnemesis the Surete police inspector who could never seem to nab his man was John's dad Lionel. Our guy Lupin III looks and sounds like that superb comedian Jerry Lewis.
