Cool series especially the location names like 'Hip Hop City' OK the 'Rave' gives Haru Glory's sword power but to defeat the evil ShadowGuards will require four 'Rave Stones' which have been scattered all across the world like the shards of the Shi Kon no Tama in IY and the spell fragments on TWHE!) .
Anyway that's all the anime for tonight. Tomorrow at 3:30 AM we'll have WitchBlade. IFC has dropped HellGirl after airing the final eppy of Season 1 last week. Not sure when or if they are gonna continue it and/or bring it back. Dammit that burns me up man!
Hey WitchBlade the film (with Sarah Pezzini not Masane Amaha- yech!) will hit theatres in a month or so as will DragonBall and Death Note is already out there showing. Many more anime based flicks are coming soon and they are filming Bebop with Keanu Reeves in Dave's role as Spike Steigel. For Jett I'd pick LF- Larry Fishburne or even MF- Morgan Freeman. Denzel Washington or Samuel L Jackson don't fit the mold. How about Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana as 'Ed' and Lindsay Lohan as Faye Valentine? (Rafe) Donnelly could be Tommie Lee Jones. Hey I oughta be a Hollywood cast finder eh? Gad, I wonder how much of a muckup they'll make of the 'Bebop', 'Swordfish II', 'Redtail' and 'Hammerhead'? I don't think Ed's power scooter had a name although we all know the computer she wore on her head with 'goggle monitors' was named 'Tomato'!

Sad to see Naruto eliminated in favour of Ben 10 Alien Force which dominates Saturday evenings on CN. It follows Total Drama Island and 6Teen which is about teens in a shopping mall.
Before I forget we just watched Mallrats which is a Jay & Silent Bob teen comedy filmed in a New Jersey shopping mall. Jason Lee (Dave Seville in Chipmunks flick) played a comic fanatic and the special guest star was Stan Lee himself. If you saw Fantastic 4- Rise of the Silver Surfer you may have caught a cameo of him as one of the wedding guests at the Reed Richards/Sue Storm nuptials. In Mallrats he was an integral character. Stan was signing comics at the mall and helped out Jason with a few problems. Don't miss this flick or Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back when the goofs come to Hollywood. Cameos by Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia). He's a supervillain (natch- he voices 'em everywhere) and she's a nun (go figure eh?)
Anyhow Showtime is where we saw 'em- Showtime at COD.
A couple of Code Geass crossovers in this week's eppys. Two of the new 'Nightmares' (like Gundams) have unusual names: 'Guren' (as in 'Guren Lagann' the BGR anime series above) and 'Zangetsu' (as in the name of Ichigo Kurosaki's 'zampatou' sword in 'Bleach'. His has the voice of Richard Epcar who also voices the last of the Bounts- Kouga).
If anyone saw the PGA Masters Tourney did ya see the Japanese guy who finished third? OK let me clarify this. In golf when there's a playoff regardless of how many are involved there is only one winner. He or she gets the first place prize. The others in that playoff tie for second. In Chad Campbell and Kenny (Seattle Mariners' pitcher Gaylord's nephew) Perry's case that meant they would split the second and third place prize money. Coming in third Shingo Katayama gets 4th place loot and so on down the line. Angel Cabrera, Jr became the first Argentine to win the Masters and the first to win a second Major championship. The first Argy to win a Major was Roberto deVincenzo (1967 British Open). He almost won the Masters way back when but was DQ'd for failing to sign his scorecard. He had finished and in a sense already 'won' the tourney but rules are rules so the guy in second got the green jacket that time.
Anyway Katayama looks like a younger version of Haruka Takachiho who created the Angels, don't ya think?.
Getting into DLs and ULs and burning CDs again. Trying to get into attaching videos to messages like I do pix now but it's damned tricky folks!

These are the Classic duo- Kei the redheaded 'Demon of Dublin' and Yuri the purple-haired 'vacuumhead' 'Rose of Tralee'. They're 19. The film Angels and their original series counterparts range betwixt early 20s and mid 30s. The 'debut' pair are definitely closer to 30 than 20!
Last but not least here's animeontv.com's anime spokesgal and like Neko she's entirely made up although her deep violet aizu (eyes) and flaming red hair are dead giveaways that her creator adores Kenshin Himura on Rurouni Kenshin and Samurai X. Even her name 'Kitana' is an anagram of 'katana' which is a Samurai sword once wielded by KH the 'Legendary Manhunter' until he forsook killing to atone for his battlefield war killings. He turned his blade over to the dull side thus transforming his katana into a 'sakabatou'. The actual Kenshin Himura paid for this act of mercy with his own life when the same emperor he fought for so nobly ordered him beheaded as a coward! Anyway meet Kitana:
